THE MAKING OF DIGBETH: THE CREATIVE QUARTER ✨
We are extremely excited to announce that on Thursday 19th November, we are celebrating everything that makes Digbeth… Digbeth.
We will be launching an exhibition curated with help from Professor Carl Chinn MBE, taking you through the history of Digbeth, from the first mention of the area in the 14th Century, to the regeneration of the Custard Factory, through to what Digbeth looks like today, that will take over The Dome space.
We will be hosting a small drinks reception with talks from the people who made Digbeth the place it is today, including Bennie Gray, Glenn Howells (Howells Architects), Lisa Mayer (Capsule, Supersonic Festival) & Lucy McLauchlan (Beat 13). Performances from Digbeth Jazz, DJ’s and even some Bird’s Custard filled treats.
